Social media is a wonderful idea, but the current platforms have strayed from what they were created for, connecting people. Unfortunately, they now can cause mental health problems and drive addiction. We want to provide a platform that is based solely on the best parts of social media: human connection and interaction.
What is immi?
immi is a platform that re-imagines what social platforms look like. We believe in connecting users to their friends and family directly. Nothing more, nothing less.
How is that different from social media?
Current platforms are designed to keep users on their apps for as long as possible. Examples of the desire to keep users engaged are endless feeds, suggested content, or rewarding consistent usage. We want to get rid of all of the noise and declutter the experience by focusing on the user experience.
How will we accomplish this?
We will show you only updates from your friends and family and your conversations. That's it. Once you're done we hope you get off our app and off your device.
